Mary at a Glance
How it Started
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Mary is the youngest of four and the only girl to James and Gloria Gregory. Her parents were the ideal example of hard work, conservatism, and generosity — values that shaped who she is. She has a passion for public service and is focused on building a legacy of success and prosperity for future generations to build upon.
Faith & Family First
Mary and her husband Wade have built their life together on faith, family, and service. Married over 25 years, they are the proud parents of Ava, Aubrianna, and Gavin, all born at Williamson Medical Center and educated in Williamson County Schools. Mary cherishes her role as “Marmy” to her grandson who lives nearby in Spring Hill, and values the strong family roots that tie her to this community.
Legacy of Service
Mary’s life is rooted in a proud legacy of service, from ancestors who fought in the American Revolution to her own family today. Her son serves as a midshipman at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, her son-in-law is a fireman with the U.S. Coast Guard, and another son-in-law with aspirations to join local Fire & Rescue. Honoring and supporting military members, veterans, and first responders remains one of Mary’s deepest commitments.
Community Roots
Small-Business Owner
Mary knows firsthand the grit it takes to build and sustain a business. With Wade, she co‑founded MoJo’s Coffee House in Fairview and Marava’s Espresso Café in Spring Hill. She also operated a tutoring business for struggling students. These experiences give her a deep understanding of the challenges local business owners face, from making payroll to providing excellent service in the community.
Proven Leader
With over 25 years of strategic project management experience, Mary has held leadership roles at several companies from mid-size to Fortune 500 and currently serves on a strategic management team at Nissan North America. She has a proven record of building teams, solving complex challenges, and delivering results—all while staying grounded in common sense, compassion, and fiscal responsibility.
Public Servant
In 2022, Mary was elected as Williamson County Commissioner for District 5. Since then, she has worked tirelessly with residents to address growth, infrastructure, and budget issues. She believes government must be transparent, accountable, and respectful of property rights, while ensuring growth is managed responsibly and thoughtfully to protect roads, public safety, and community values.
Looking Ahead
Now, Mary is ready to continue that service as Williamson County Mayor. She brings with her the lessons of family, faith, business ownership, corporate leadership, and community involvement.
Her vision is clear: to lead with common sense, compassion, fiscal stewardship, and a servant’s heart, ensuring Williamson County remains one of the best places in America to live, work, and raise a family.
“If you think about it, you'll see that it's in the family that we must all learn the fundamental lesson of life — right and wrong, respect for others, self-discipline, the importance of knowledge, and, yes, a sense of our own self-worth. All of our lives, it's the love of our families that sustains us when times are hard.”
President Ronald Reagan
