I’m proud to endorse Mary Smith for Mayor of Williamson County — a proven grassroots, constitutional conservative with the integrity, leadership, and vision our community needs. Mary is committed to fiscal accountability, ensuring that every taxpayer dollar is spent wisely, efficiently, and with full transparency. She believes in limited government that works for the people — not above them — and she’s ready to cut waste, streamline operations, and bring true efficiency to county government. Her leadership style is grounded in facts, not politics. Mary will use data-informed decision-making to craft policies that reflect both our values and our reality — so that Williamson County continues to thrive without compromising our freedoms or financial stability.

I worked with Mary at Nissan HQ, and to me, what will set her apart is "High Tech Style, with a Southern Smile". She has a brilliant mind and asks all the right questions and then digs in to find solutions. She has the technology background, the corporate leadership skills, and the inner joy to lead Williamson County into the future while still preserving the past.

Mary Smith has been a colleague of mine for several years now and I have witnessed her people and problem solving skills in action in the workplace many times over. She is a team builder - she is fair, logical and willing to listen to opposing viewpoints while maintaining her integrity and resolve. These are the same skills she uses in her public service role as Williamson County Commissioner. Watching her balance family, faith, career and her commitment to public service is inspirational and admirable. Mary works tirelessly and selflessly, listening to and prioritizing the concerns of her constituents. She takes action and is not satisfied until she has ensured that issues are resolved. Mary is who you want as Williamson County's next Mayor.

As someone who’s lived in Williamson County for 18 years of my life, I can say without hesitation that this place has shaped who I am. It’s where I grew up, where my faith grew stronger, and where I learned the value of community. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized how hard it’s become for young people like me to actually afford to stay here. That’s one of the biggest reasons I’m so proud of my mom, Mary Smith, for stepping up and running for Williamson County Mayor. She sees the challenges families and young adults are facing, and she’s determined to do something about it. My mom has always been someone who leads with her heart and her faith. Her relationship with the Lord is the foundation of everything she does, and I’ve watched her live that out every single day - not just in words, but in the way she treats people. She doesn’t just talk about faith; she embodies it through compassion, honesty, and servant leadership. That’s the kind of leadership our county needs - leadership rooted in love, integrity, and faith. As her oldest daughter, I’ve seen firsthand the strength and grace she brings into every challenge. She’s supported me in every season of my life - from celebrating my successes to guiding me through hard times with wisdom and patience. Her example has taught me what it means to serve others and to stand firm in your beliefs even when it’s not easy. Now, as I watch her run for Mayor, I’m filled with pride because I know she’s doing this not for recognition, but because she genuinely cares about the people of Williamson County. My husband is aspiring to serve our community through the fire department, and together, we hope to build our life right here. I want to see a future where young families can afford to live in the same neighborhoods they grew up in - where teachers, firefighters, nurses, and everyday working people can thrive. My mom understands that. She knows what it means to balance growth while keeping the heart of our community intact. She’s passionate about ensuring Williamson County continues to be a place where families feel supported, where faith and values are respected, and where opportunity is accessible to everyone - not just a select few. I’ve always known my mom was meant to make a difference, and now I’m watching her do exactly that. She has the courage to lead, the compassion to listen, and the faith to guide her through it all. I couldn’t be prouder to stand beside her and support her as she takes this next step. I truly believe the Lord has placed this calling on her heart for a reason, and I know she’ll serve Williamson County with the same dedication, love, and strength she’s always shown our family. So to everyone in Williamson County - I hope you get to know my mom the way I do. Because if you do, you’ll see what I see: a woman of faith, integrity, and unwavering love for her community. She’s exactly the kind of leader this county needs right now, and I can’t wait to see the incredible things she’ll do.

It is with great pride and deep conviction that I endorse my sister, Mary Smith for Mayor of Williamson County, Tennessee. Mary is a woman of unwavering integrity, rooted in faith, and driven by a calling to serve others above herself. Her life is a reflection of the values we all hold dear—honesty, compassion, humility, and the courage to stand firm for what is right, even when it’s hard. Her selflessness isn’t just something she talks about—it’s something she lives every day, whether as a wife, mother, community member, or leader. As a woman of God and a devoted family woman, Mary brings a grounded perspective to leadership—one that puts people first, listens with empathy, and leads with both strength and grace. Her tenacity and work ethic are unmatched. When Mary sets her heart and mind to something, she gives it everything she has. And in this campaign, what she has is a deep desire to make Williamson County a place where every voice is heard and every family is valued. Williamson County deserves a leader who will not be swayed by special interests or political games—a leader who will show up, roll up her sleeves, and get to work. That’s who my sister is. She will lead with vision, courage, and a servant’s heart. If you’re looking for a mayor who will put the people of Williamson County first—who will lead with integrity, faith, and relentless dedication—look no further than Mary Smith. I believe in her. I trust her. And I hope you’ll join me in supporting her with your voice, your vote, and your prayers.

I don’t usually speak up in local politics — but I can’t stay silent about this one. I’m supporting Mary Smith for Williamson County Mayor because I know what kind of leader she is — and what kind of soul she brings to public service. Mary leads with three values I believe every public official should be tested by: Stewardship, Worth, and Governance. Stewardship means she doesn’t see this role as power to be used but trust to be carried. She asks what’s best for the people, not what’s easy or popular. Worth means every person matters. Every neighbor, every school, every part of this county — not just the loudest voices or the wealthiest corners. And Governance, that’s not just policy. It’s the moral responsibility to lead with integrity, make hard decisions, and serve with transparency.” We don’t need more politicians. We need leaders who remember that office is not a reward — it’s a responsibility. Mary knows that. She lives it. That’s why I’m with her. And I hope you will be too.

I first met Mary in 2019 when she was serving as a Delivery Manager at one of the largest employers in Williamson County. In that role, she was responsible for hiring highly specialized IT consultants, which I had the opportunity to provide to her from time to time. Mary quickly stood out as a strong leader — decisive, solutions-oriented, and highly effective in navigating complex environments. She sets high standards for herself and those around her, while remaining fair, approachable, and an excellent motivator. She always takes the time to understand the challenges and priorities of the departments and stakeholders her team supports. Over the years, our professional relationship grew into a friendship, and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her wonderful husband and family. Mary is one of the most proud and patriotic Americans I know. She is deeply committed to addressing the challenges Williamson County faces today and preparing for the opportunities of tomorrow. Mary is bold, unafraid, and ready to lead. She will serve as a strong conservative Mayor who always puts her constituents’ best interests first.

I have known Mary for the past two years and am currently serving with her on the Williamson County Commission. She is consistently conservative both fiscally and socially. She does her homework on the issues confronting our county. She is fair and reasonable and is always willing to listen to opposing views. She works effectively with all involved in order to pass resolutions that are good for our county. I trust her judgement and her integrity. She is just the person we need to be our next mayor.

Mary is a high-integrity systems thinker. I'm 100% certain she has the character, composure, and focus on data that we need to lead Williamson County into the next era. Wilco is thundering toward becoming a top 5 county in the entire nation, and Mary is the person who can steer us into this new era so that we can serve as an example to other places that you CAN have growth without sacrificing your values. Reading her platform you feel like you're finally breathing fresh air – Conservative values, family, quality of life, managing growth – the keys to prosperity. In voting for politicians, you rarely get to make easy choices – but this is one of them!

Mary Smith is a person who truly cares about each member of the community. A few years ago our drone team covered a zoning project in College Grove for a private citizen. After the job, I reached out to Mary about the issue. I was surprised when Mary not only responded to me, but also reached out to the citizen and had several one-on-one chats about the situation. Mary is smart, hardworking, and will be a great Mayor of Williamson County.

The vast majority of complaints about modern politics are actually reflections of the people involved and the process they use. Mary Smith understands both, but more importantly, she has the courage, the intellect and the convictions to be a part of the process, without letting business as usual become her master. Mary is not making the tremendous sacrifices she is and will endure, because she is power hungry or self centered, she is deeply concerned about an environment where people will do and say anything to get elected and then use their positions against many of the very people that helped make their access to power possible. My wife, Shaloma, and I have great confidence in Mary and her ability to represent our county in an honorable and noble way, that cuts across the grain of self interest, compromise and duplicity.

Mary has served our county well as a commissioner. She has been one of the few commissioners who actually digs into the issues and the numbers (rather than rubber-stamping the current mayor’s proposals or staff recommendations as most of them do). I’m amazed at how much she knows about our county government. She’s currently a IT person and data wonk and makes decisions “by the numbers”. But she also knows that government is supposed to be limited AND ACTUALLY VOTES THAT WAY! We will all be well-served to have Mary as your County Mayor.

So excited you are running for mayor. This community needs a fiscally intelligent, compassionate and thoughtful leader that will put the needs of the county's residents first. Someone who is practical yet is willing to go against the traditional way business has been done when there is a better approach that could be implemented. Your newsletter to your constituents as a county leader are extremely informative and reflect the thoroughness and in-depth knowledge you consistently place behind your voting process. We need a great communicator, negotiator and leader with the courage to make the difficult decisions. You certainly meet those qualifications. Can't wait to vote for you as county mayor!

I first encountered Mary at a neighborhood meeting where the subject was the threat of an obtrusive commercial development. This was in 2022, before her election to the County Commission. Her comment was, "I don't know much about this now, but I will learn everything about it." Mary has been true to her word. I'm happy to support her.

I fully endorse Mary Smith for Mayor of Williamson County. She has been our next door neighbor since my wife and I moved to Tennessee in 2016. My experience includes being a U.S. Navy veteran, 20 yr Ship Master in the U.S. Merchant Marine and civilian employee with the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command. In all my years of experience as a junior officer, senior officer and in management the one personal trait I found most important was integrity. I value people with integrity more than people with greater work or educational skills. When you are in the middle of an ocean with the only help you can rely on is your crew, people with integrity rise to the top as you can rely on them to make the right decision no matter what the outcome may bring professionally or personally. Mary Smith exhibits integrity in spades. Our political views may not always correspond but I have complete trust that decisions she will need to make will be based on data driven evidence vice personal or outside interest agendas. I feel we are sadly missing integrity in many or our political leaders nowadays but that will not be the case with Mary Smith as our next Williamson County Mayor.
