“There you go again.” — President Ronald Reagan T “There you go again.” — President Ronald Reagan

Those were the words President Ronald Reagan often used when smear tactics surfaced during a campaign.

Unfortunately, we’re seeing some of that here in Williamson County.

Last week it was a push poll distorting my record. This week, campaign signs have disappeared.

Those signs are purchased with donor dollars from neighbors who believe in what we’re standing for. When someone steals those signs, they’re taking the voices of the people who put them there.

Williamson County deserves leadership willing to run on ideas, record, and principle — not tactics that tear people down.

Someone may steal a sign, but they can’t steal the support behind it.

Sheriff Jeff Hughes set the record straight. “The Sheriff Jeff Hughes set the record straight.

“There you go again.” — Ronald Reagan

President Reagan used those words when familiar distortions resurfaced. He didn’t shout. He didn’t panic. When the facts are on your side, you don’t need theatrics.

In recent days, misleading push polls and well-funded tactics have attempted to distort my record — particularly regarding support for our sheriff’s deputies and public safety funding.

Let me be clear: those claims are false.

I have supported competitive pay for our deputies and first responders because keeping Williamson County safe is not optional. I have supported infrastructure, parks, and essential services because strong communities require balance. And I have consistently pursued efficiencies and responsible debt management to protect taxpayers.

Supporting public safety while demanding fiscal discipline is not a contradiction — it is stewardship.

Disagreement is healthy. Deception is not.

Public office is not a trophy to be won; it is a trust to be earned.

Thank you, Sheriff Hughes, for standing on truth.

Williamson County deserves leadership that stands tall on record and principle. I am ready to serve.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the parking lot at Page High filled with tractors.

Tractor Day is more than a fun event — it’s a celebration of our rural roots, our agricultural heritage, and the hardworking families who helped build Williamson County.

Traditions like this remind us where we came from and why preserving that identity matters.

Grateful to see our students honoring the legacy that makes this community so special.

What an incredible evening at Spring Hill City Hal What an incredible evening at Spring Hill City Hall this past Tuesday honoring the next generation of leaders. 🇺🇸

It was truly a privilege to be present as 16-year-old Benny Jett received the Mary Desha Medal for Youth from the Brigadier General Richard Winn Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

This award recognizes outstanding patriotism, service, leadership, and character — and Benny represents each of those qualities so well. Watching him stand at the podium and receive this honor was a powerful reminder that our future is bright.

With young men like Benny stepping forward to serve, lead, and love their community, I have tremendous faith in what lies ahead for Williamson County and for America.

Congratulations, Benny. 🇺🇸✨

Big decisions deserve honest math and open debate. Big decisions deserve honest math and open debate.

Luke 14:28 reminds us that wisdom starts by counting the cost before we build.
Planning isn’t fear.
Transparency isn’t weakness.
They’re signs of responsible leadership.

Strong foundations are built when leaders are willing to slow down, ask questions, and do the math—out loud.

What Mary is Hearing Across Williamson County 👇 O What Mary is Hearing Across Williamson County 👇

Over the past few weeks, Mary has been out in neighborhoods, small businesses, community events, and kitchen-table conversations — not to talk, but to listen.

And the message is clear.

As Williamson County grows, families are feeling the pressure.

🚗 Traffic and congestion are making daily life harder.
🏡 Affordability is making it tougher for families to stay close to the community they love.

People aren’t against growth.
They just want growth done wisely.
Growth with guardrails.

They want roads that work.
They want development that makes sense.
They want their children and grandchildren to be able to afford to live here.

And most of all — they want to be heard.

Mary understands this because she’s listening. She’s asking questions. She’s hearing the frustrations and the hopes.

As a County Commissioner, she has already been part of the real decisions shaping our future. She knows how county government works — and she knows leadership means being in your corner, especially when change feels overwhelming.

Growth is coming.
The question is: will we manage it responsibly?

Mary believes we can protect what makes Williamson County special while planning smartly for what’s ahead.

She’s not running to figure it out later.
She’s running because she understands what’s at stake right now.

If traffic, affordability, and thoughtful growth matter to you — you’re not alone.

And you deserve leadership that listens.

Standing before the presidential memorials in Wash Standing before the presidential memorials in Washington, D.C. is a powerful reminder of what leadership is meant to be.

Our founders believed government should serve the people. And real service requires stewardship—of our resources, our environment, and most importantly, our people.

This Presidents Day, may we honor their legacy with leadership rooted in care, accountability, and humility.
